CashLab

30-Day

Warranty

Refund & Warranty Policy

When you buy from CashLab - online or in-store - you can expect items to be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, safe, durable, and accurately described.

This is the introductory text section, intended to set the stage before the main rich content. It can also include bold text, lists, and links.

If something goes wrong, you may be entitled to a repair,
replacement or refund under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

CashLab 30-Day Warranty (most items)

Unlike person-to-person marketplace sales, most items sold by CashLab are covered by a 30-day warranty. If your item develops a fault within 30 days of purchase, contact the store of purchase to discuss the best remedy—repair, replacement or refund.

Exemptions & Special Cases

Because second-hand goods each have a unique history, some items may be exempt from the standard 90-day warranty. These may include:

  • Items specifically marked with a different warranty period on the product page or receipt.
  • Items sold "as is" or "parts only", where known faults are clearly described at the time of sale.
  • Consumables and accessories where wear and tear is expected.

If you're unsure what applies to a particular item, please speak with the store team before purchasing.

Refunds

We're committed to doing the right thing if there's an issue. Please note:

  • CashLab does not offer refunds for change of mind.
  • Where there's a problem with your purchase, we'll work with you on an appropriate remedy under the ACL—repair, replacement or refund.

How to request a remedy

  1. Contact the store where you purchased the item (details are on your receipt or dispatch sheet). Explain the issue and the remedy you're seeking. The team may troubleshoot with you or discuss next steps.
  2. If the store asks you to return the item, please include all accessories. You can return in-person for store purchases or online orders (the store may provide a pre-paid return label or reimburse reasonable return postage once assessed and approved.
  3. Once your item is received at the store, we'll process a repair, replacement or refund. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.

Proof of purchase

Please keep your receipt, invoice, or dispatch sheet. It helps us locate your order quickly and process any warranty or refund claim.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the ACL. Depending on the nature of the fault, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund, and—in the case of a major failure—other reasonable remedies.
